통번역 기초 및 실무 기술을 통해 영어 시사 주제를 이해하고 전문 분야

표현을 익힐 수 있는 4주 집중 통번역 입문 과정입니다.

 

1. 일정: 2026년 6월 22(월) ~ 2026년 7월 20일(월)

 

2. 대상:

 1) 초급반 ? 통번역을 처음 공부하는 분, 영어 실력 초급자, 통번역대 진학에 관심 있는 분

 2) 중급반 - 통번역 업무 경험자, 영어 실력 중상급자, 통번역대 진학 예정자

 

3. 기대효과:

 1) 초급반 

   ? 기본적인 영어 독해, 듣기, 말하기, 쓰기 능력 강화

   - 신문, 뉴스 등의 시사 주제를 영어로 이해하는 능력 향상

 2) 중급반 

   ? 요약, 문장 재구성, 표현 바꾸기 등 통번역 기술을 실전 업무에 활용 가능

   - 전문 분야 (IT, 경제, 금융, 환경 등), 국제회의. 기업 발표, 고위급 회담 등에 필요한 전문용어 학습

   - 영어식 구조와 표현 학습으로 업무 역량 증진

 

4. 시간:

 1) 초급반 - 월수금 주 3회, 19:00~22:00 *총 12회 36시간 교육

 2) 중급반 ? 화목 주 2회, 19:00~22:00 *총 8회 24시간 교육

 

5. 장소: 고려대학교 국제관 609호

 

6. 강의: KUMQ 통번역 학위과정 전문 교수진

 

7. 접수 기간: 2026년 5월 6일(수) ~ 6월 18일(목) (수강료 입금 순 마감)

Korea University Pathway to Macquarie University Translation and Interpretation

Postgraduate Degrees Program

2026 Summer Beginner and Intermediate Classes

 

This is a 4-week intensive introductory course in translation and interpretation that enables students to understand current affairs topics in English and master specialized terminology through foundational and practical skills.

 

1. Schedule: June 22, 2026 (Mon) ? July 20, 2026 (Mon)

 

2. Target Audience:

 1) Beginner Class ? Those new to interpreting and translation, beginners in English, and those interested in pursuing a degree in interpreting and translation

 2) Intermediate Class ? Those with experience in interpretation and translation work, intermediate to advanced English proficiency, and those planning to enroll in a university interpretation and translation program

 

3. Expected Outcomes:

 1) Beginner Class 

  - Strengthen basic English reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills

   - Improve the ability to understand current affairs topics such as newspapers and news in English

 2) Intermediate Class 

  ? Ability to apply interpretation and translation techniques such as summarization, sentence restructuring, and rephrasing to real-world work situations

   -  Learning specialized terminology required for professional fields (IT, economics, finance, environment, etc.),  international conferences, corporate presentations, and high-level meetings

   - Enhancing professional competence through the study of English sentence structures and expressions

 

4. Schedule:

 1) Beginner Class ? Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (3 times a week),  7:00 PM?10:00 PM  *Total 12 of sessions, 36 hours of instruction

 2) Intermediate Class ? Tuesdays and Thursdays (2 times a week), 7:00 PM?10:00 PM  *Total of 8 sessions, 24 hours of instruction

 

5. Location: Room 609, International Studies Hall, Korea University

 

6. Instructors: Faculty from the KUMQ Translation and Interpretation Degree Program

 

7. Application Period: Wednesday, May 6, 2026 ? Thursday, June 18, 2026    (Applications will close once tuition payments are received)

 

8. Application Process: Complete the Google Form -> Pay the tuition fee
